Our Staff

Join a bunch of committed and passionate folks at Redwood Adventure Camp.

Our staff is our most important resource. We strive to provide a place where our staff feels welcome, is committed to personal growth, feels comfortable sharing their faith, and gets inspired and inspires others. Our staff enjoy living and working in the beautiful outdoors. Who better to tell you about why to work on staff than our staff in their own words…

Camp is incredibly special to me. It has shaped my past, my present, and forever my future. I am who I am because of it. The experiences and the people from Camp have help me to define myself as a person. There is a special place in my heart reserved for Redwood Adventure Camp and those who have journeyed this path with me. All of us know the work it takes to run this program, but the rewards are truly priceless. Not a summer goes by when I don't wish to be there, nor will that ever change. I will be there whenever I can and in any capacity I can manage. I owe much to this program, and I will support it however I can for as long as I can. Camp is truly the opportunity of a lifetime, one that should never be wasted!

Melissa (Wagner) CampbellFormer Staff/Volunteer/Parent

One of the biggest reasons I went back to work at camp year after year was the people I got to work with. The people I met at camp are some of the funniest and most genuine people I know. I would never have met all of them if it weren't for camp. RAC is an amazing place.

Jack WoernerFormer Camper/Staff

I've worked on the staff at Redwood Adventure Camp for 3 summers. From just a few short weeks spent with a group of friends in the beautiful surroundings of RAC I came to gain some lifelong friendships and memories that leave me to this day telling people that it is one of the most meaningful places to me. Not only does it give you the opportunity to build on your own skills in leadership but you also have the benefit of seeing campers grow in so many ways. I live half way around the world from RAC but it is definitely in my plan to come back to it with my family so my own children can experience the incredible opportunities this camp offers and being on staff is a truly unmissable opportunity to experience it.
